MY STORY

I’m Promise Tangeman-Wurzell. Yup, that's my real name. My mother had a miscarriage before I was born, so, my parents felt that I was a Promise from God when they had me.

As an artistic fashion junky, I grew up loving the arts and expression. Following my love and desire to improve my craft, I attended Northwest College of Art and Design in Poulsbo, Washington where I graduated with a BFA in 2007, double majoring in Graphic Design and Fine Art. 

In 2009, I married a dreamy Worship Pastor, Brian Wurzell, and stepped out to start my own business as a graphic and web designer. Following the rapid success and high demand, I assembled a design team in 2012 and we began hosting in-person events to help creative entrepreneurs by the masses to build, design, and launch their website in two days flat.

My team at Go Live Hq and I organize workshops, design and sell website themes, craft custom websites, and ultimately help people launch what they love. We’ve had the privilege of working with the original #Girlboss herself, Sophia Amoruso, of Nasty Gal, Sadie Robertson of Duck Dynasty, TLC star Randy Fenoli of Say Yes to The Dress, Fashion Blogger Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What, Jaclyn Johnson of Create & Cultivate, Elsie Larson of A Beautiful Mess, and many other inspiring small businesses and creative entrepreneurs.

I also co-founded Designer Vaca, which is a collaborative vacation that takes place every year in Palm Springs. We gather together hundreds of female designers of all kinds from around the world to dream, relax, share experiences, and learn from each other. This intimate environment has a relaxed anti-conference feel creating space for amazing connections and beautiful relationships to take place.

Over the last few years, I’ve enjoyed encouraging fellow creatives by speaking and sharing my story at the Girlboss Rally, Catalyst Conference, Yellow Conference, Create & Cultivate, Circles Conference, Alt Summit, Identity Conference, Creative Live, and many more.
