THE AUTHORITY COHORT Terms & Conditions


Cohort Dates: April–July 2026

By enrolling in The Authority Cohort (“Cohort”), you (“Participant,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) with Promise Tangeman and associated entities (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. PROGRAM SCOPE & NATURE (DONE-WITH-YOU, NOT DONE-FOR-YOU)

The Authority Cohort is a 16-week, done-with-you implementation experience that provides strategy, coaching, templates, frameworks, and feedback to help you build your personal brand.

We are not building your program, course, offer, brand, website, or business for you.
You are responsible for defining your offer and implementing all materials provided.

You acknowledge that this is not an agency or done-for-you service unless explicitly contracted separately in writing.

2. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree that you are responsible for:

  • Defining or refining your offer and business model

  • Completing assignments, exercises, and implementation steps

  • Making strategic decisions regarding your brand, website, and marketing

  • Attending calls and engaging in the community

Results depend on your effort, execution, market conditions, and other factors beyond our control.

3. BRAND ASSETS & DESIGN SERVICES DISCLAIMER

The Cohort includes guidance, templates, and frameworks for brand assets such as:

  • Logos

  • Color palettes

  • Fonts

  • Visual identity

  • Website

  • Images

If you want done-for-you branding, website design, or creative services, you may hire our agency separately under a separate contract and pricing structure.

4. COACHING CALLS, COMMUNITY & CONTENT

Your enrollment includes:

  • Group coaching calls

  • One private coaching call

  • Community access

  • Templates, guides, and resources

Calls may be recorded and shared with Cohort participants. By enrolling, you consent to being recorded.

5. BONUS PHOTOSHOOT TERMS

The optional on-location personal branding photoshoot in Atlanta is a separate bonus experience and is not included in the Cohort fee.

Participant is responsible for:

  • Travel, lodging, and related expenses

  • Photographer fees

  • Any additional styling, makeup, or props

The Company does not guarantee availability, scheduling, or specific outcomes from the photoshoot.

6. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment options:

  • One-time full payment of $5,200

  • Five monthly payments of $1,144

By choosing a payment plan, you agree to complete all payments regardless of participation or completion. Failure to complete payments may result in loss of access and collections action.

7. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to the nature of digital programs and live cohort experiences, all sales are final.
No refunds will be issued once the Cohort begins.

If you are removed for violation of these Terms, no refund will be provided.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Cohort materials, frameworks, templates, and content are owned by the Company.
You may use them for your personal business only.

You may not:

  • Share, resell, distribute, or reproduce materials

  • Use materials to teach or coach others without permission

9. CONFIDENTIALITY & COMMUNITY CONDUCT

You agree to keep other participants’ shared information confidential.

You must participate respectfully. Harassment, hate speech, spamming, or disruptive behavior may result in removal without refund.

10. NO GUARANTEES OR EARNINGS CLAIMS

We do not guarantee:

  • Revenue

  • Clients

  • Audience growth

  • Brand recognition

  • Business success

11. DISCLAIMER (NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE)

The Cohort provides education and coaching only.
Nothing provided constitutes legal, financial, tax, or business advice.
You are responsible for consulting licensed professionals.

12. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate your participation for:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Non-payment

  • Disruptive or unethical conduct

Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Cohort. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Cohort.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
